Think about your audience : Softdev Ajay's Outreachy Blog

This is the third non-technical blog of mine at outreachy internship and I'm thinking of my audience? Whom is it going to benefit? Let me explain a bit more about it for whom , so it is for anyone who is interested in Confidential Computing and I'm willing to write these blogs to share my beautiful journey towards Confidential Computing. As one can see in my previous blog, the first one was knowing more about me and the second one was all about my struggles and this one is going to be knowing about my project Enarx so let's get started.

What is Enarx?

Enarx is the leading open source framework for running applications in TEEs (Trusted Execution Environments). It's part of the Confidential Computing Consortium from the Linux Foundation.

Why should one show interest in Enarx?

Enarx provides a run-time TEE based on WebAssembly, allowing developers to deploy applications without any rewrites from languages like Rust, C/C++, C#, Go, Java, Python, Haskell and many more. Also Enarx is CPU-architecture independent and that's why it lets developers deploy the same application code transparently across multiple targets. It handles attestation and delivery into a run-time “Keep” based on WebAssembly, offering developers a wide range of language choices for implementation as I was talking about it. Also we can refer to it as an application deployment system because it enables applications to run within Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) without rewriting for particular platforms or SDKs.

All passionate applicants can contribute to Enarx!

The community appreciates everyone who is passionate and can contribute to its project through the project repository or contribution page. All the projects use an issue tracker to keep information about bugs to fix, project features to implement, documentation to write, and many more. Please Look at the Contribution Page for more information there We've compiled everything you'll need to get involved with the project.Thank You.
